SCHOOL CLOSED, LESSONS DOESN’T

All school have shut in response to the coronavirus outbreak. However, this doesn’t mean lesson also need to be stopped. As for AATS, we have moved to online teaching as soon as the school announced closure. This to make sure that students can keep up their studies. Online Learning during the Movement Control Order (MCO) is a big adjustment for many families and teachers.

It will be something that students will never forget and better prepare them for the many challenges of life ahead.

Teachers, School Management and Parents have all worked very hard to keep the students the best experience possible, despite closing the school.

To reiterate that we are committed to deliver our curriculum in order to assure continuity of education for our students. This will now happen in diverse environments using a virtual learning model. Our teachers and support staff are working extremely hard to ensure the quality of this online learning. The learning taking place is valuable and will be valued.

Thanks to the school’s quick response and its readiness to virtual learning, the students are given the right to enjoy learning without risking their health even for a day.

Thank you to all the teachers in Al-Amin Tropicana School Sungai Buloh and everyone who put extra efforts in making online learning possible. Teachers are passionate about providing the very best education for their students. Without them, this would not have been possible and successful.

On the other hand, parents are also being very supportive and encouraging their children at home to participate in this lesson by monitoring the learning activities closely.

We are very pleased with how our students are adjusting to this new way of learning.

Students’ lessons are conducted via live conference, video-teaching, google classroom, quizzes etc., facilitated by the teachers themselves.

FIELD TRIP 2.0 UPPER PRIMARY

Previously, we were very proud to share about the field trip for our lower primary students. Some of you may wonder, what about the upper primary students? Aha! Here is the surprise.

With the theme of News and Broadcasting for our upper primary students, our primary 4 students went to Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, UiTM Shah Alam, while our primary 5 and 6 students went to Angkasapuri RTM.

At RTM, our students were given the chance to join the live broadcast of Selamat Pagi Malaysia show. Aside from that, they had a very great time touring around the studio and radio station around Angkasapuri.

Meanwhile at UiTM MassComm, we were by attended by Puan Nora and fellow lecturers who guided our tour around the studio, radio station and animation lab. They had also generously let our students experienced the real scenario in broadcasting such as letting them handle the camera, and tried recording their voices.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank RTM - Radio Televisyen Malaysia and UiTM MassComm for their time and generousity. May Allah bless you.

FIELD TRIP 2.0 (2019)

It's not much of a mystery when our students were all smiling throughout their trips to chocolate factory and museums. I mean, who doesn't love chocolate right?

As the theme for lower primary now is 'Cocoa', we took our students for a journey in the chocolate factory. How exciting! The field trips to Grandeur Chocolate, Chocolate Museum and Beryl's Chocolate factory have exposed our students to the history of chocolate, types of cocoa, chocolate making process and so on.

We are glad that our students seemed to enjoy the trips very much and managed to gather a lot of inputs and knowledge. After all, lessons are not limited in classroom only, right? Looking forward to many more field trips together in the future!
